My Sight

The Spirit has made me wise and taught me to understand what it means to know God intimately.

Ephesians 1:17-23

I pray today that the God of my Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, gives me a spirit of wisdom and of revelation that gives me a deep and personal and intimate insight into the true knowledge of Him, so that I may know the Father through the Son.

I pray that the eyes of my heart the very center and core of my being be enlightened and flooded with light by the Holy Spirit, so that I will know and cherish the hope, the divine guarantee, the confident expectation to which He has called me, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His people, so that I will begin to know what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His active, spiritual power within me who takes God at His Word.

Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and seated in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. Now He is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made Him head over all things for my benefit. And I am the body of Christ Jesus; made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with Himself.

I can see and understand!
