1 Corinthians 13
So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love. God's love within me is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or rude. The love of God that has been flooded in my heart by the Holy Spirit isn’t selfish or quick tempered.
I don't keep a record of anyone's wrongs instead I rejoice in the truth, but not in evil. The love of God within me is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting.
The love of God that I carry within me never fails!
Faith exists and works by love. God has plans to prosper me and not to harm me, plans to give me hope and a great future, but what good is it all if I don't show His love to myself and others? Of these three attributes of faith, hope and love, the greatest is God's love within me.
I choose today to demonstrate the first and greatest commandment of love. I love the Lord my God with all my heart and with all my soul and with all your mind and with all my strength.
I choose today to demonstrate the second commandment of love. I love others as I love myself. There is no commandment greater than these two commandments.
Today I will fulfill the command of love. Christ's love compels me.
