Colossians 2

Snippets from Colossians…

In AD 60–61, Paul is still in prison in Rome and co-authors this letter to the Colossian Christian community with Timothy. He received reports that they were struggling to understand Christ deity and sufficiency in all things. Paul pours out his heart as he explains that Jesus is crowned the Head over the church and has all delegated authority by His Father. And through His death on the cross, everyone who comes to Him is made alive to God, setting them on the paths to new ways of living. For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature]. —Colossians 2:9
