Ephesians 5

Snippets from Ephesians…

Apostle Paul planted the church in Ephesus around AD 62 and now begins to teach his newly found community the importance of establishing a relationship with Jesus Christ—so that they may grow up in every way into Him. As a shepherd, Paul teaches them that through Christ, God has reconciled both nationalities “Jews and Gentiles” to Himself and they are all members of Christ’s body. As a result of his teaching he encouraged them that pure and righteous living is possible among their new church community and in their homes. In Christ you, too, are being built together into a place where God lives through the Spirit. —Ephesians 2:22
