The passage above is power packed! God had communicated His desires to Joshua, Moses' right hand man concerning His purposes now that his leader was deceased. Joshua's grieving season was up and God needed Him to carry out His instructions that were written and guaranteed his success. God is faithful to fulfill His promises as we take hold of His strength and courage that He provides for us.
God wants us to give it all we have heart and soul as we carry out all the Revelation of His Book. He wants to make sure that we get to where we are going and reminds us again not to let this Book of The Revelation be removed out of our mind.
As Believers we learn and understand by meditation and revelation from the Word of God. I have found that many Believers don't think about the Word of God past their weekly Saturday or Sunday services. They don't make a practice of what they have heard from God's Word. They"feel good and proud" that they have fulfilled their weekly spiritual commitments, but they walk away week after week hurting badly physically, relationally, financially, maritally, and emotionally.
There is something wrong and the passage above is the answer. Pondering and meditating on God's Word daily and then making a practice to do what has been written in it will cause each of us to get to where we are led to go and succeed. Read this passage again. Look at what God says He will do again and look at your part too.
Today, make a choice to spend time with this Book of Revelation. Sit with the Word of God, let it take hold of your mind, will, emotions, and your heart. God, your God is with you every step you take. And since He is with you, why not step out today?
He's waiting for you...
Decree It: This Book of the Law shall not depart from my mouth. I read it and meditate upon it daily, so that I may be careful to do everything in accordance with all that is written in it; for then I will make my way prosperous and have good success. God has commanded me to be strong and courageous. He is with me wherever I go.
