Promotion Comes from God

An impulsive vow is a trap; later you’ll wish you could get out of it.

We all want a good wage and to be recognized and promoted for our work. The key though is to remember that it was God that put it on the heart of our employers to hire us or show us favor with business deals and contracts.  This is why we should take our work, businesses or ministries seriously by not allowing ourselves to produce sloppy work.

What are some of the ways that may stop us from being promoted?

Arriving late or taking a lot of unnecessary time off, using up the time of others that we are not being paid for, dressing and speaking unprofessionally, not taking any initiatives to learn new skills and strategies, lacking teamwork or ignoring the input of others that can benefit the company or organization, just to name a few.

God is watching how we work and work with others. Promotion and power come from Him alone.  So the next time you are promoted thank God.  I know at times you may have done all the things above and still find yourself waiting for your promotion.  Remember God knows how to increase you and your promotion may come in ways you would have never imagined.

In whatever you are doing for your earnings work at it willingly, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. And from the Lord, your promotion will come speedily in due season.

Decree It:  I thank You Lord for employment at my job or business that you have assigned to me.  I do my work as unto You rather than for people, and in due season I believe that You will promote me.
