God's laws are perfect in intent, flawless in their administration and have established His Kingdom and His way of life. His Words refresh and restore the soul. They are reliable and can be trusted by all who adhere to them. The key is to adhere to the flawless Word of God to see the results and all His possibilities not return empty, but accomplish what they have been sent to do.
To adhere means to abide by, stick to, hold to, act in accordance with, conform to, submit to, obey, heed, observe, and fulfill.
If we are going to walk and live in our spiritual authority as Believers, we must adhere to the flawless Word of God. Remember it’s faith and works. It's faith and the actions that we take to walk in the fullness of our spiritual authority. We can't have one without the other. We need God's spiritual laws and spiritual authority.
Adam didn't adhere to the Law of God. He betrayed His country by listening to other words that caused him to lose the spiritual authority that God gave him to rule on the earth. Jesus, the second Adam, followed the Word of God. And we have been commanded to listen to Him—the Son of God marked by God's love. We must be good students and know what the Law of God says and then act in accordance with what has been spoken.
Psalm 1:1-2, David reminds us that we are blessed when we don't walk in the counsel of the wicked. Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But our delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law, we meditate day and night. So if we are going to walk and rule in our spiritual authority that God has given us, we must meditate on the Word often throughout the day. So when the time comes, we will be ready to respond, because we trust God's Word.
God's Word is summed up in two words the Law and the Gospel. The Law is God's first Word on any given subject, and the Gospel is God's final Word. The gospel is the good news about all that Jesus Christ accomplished for each of us. The Law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith.
Jesus came to fulfill the Law. Salvation in the Greek means welfare, prosperity, deliverance, preservation, salvation, and safety. Jesus Christ has been authorized by God to give salvation, and we are to offer salvation to others because our spiritual authority has been transferred to us by Jesus. He gave us His authority to rule on the earth just like Adam was originally sent to do.
Decree It: Today I humble myself and adhere to the flawless Law of God. I submit to Jesus Christ who came to fulfill the Law of God. The Law of the Lord is perfect in its intent, restoring and refreshing my soul; the statutes of the Lord are reliable and trustworthy. I have the power of God to rule while I'm in the earth as God has authorized me and I act in accordance with God's Word that will not return void, but His Word will accomplish what it has been sent to do in my life and in the earth.
