Victory Belongs to Jesus and You

But we thank God for giving us the victory as conquerors through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One.
— 1 Corinthians 15:57

By Nina Roach

Thank God for the victory that He has given you and I. We are more than conquerors through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. Jesus has conquered everything for us. He got back our identity as the Righteousness of God in Himself, every provision as a Shepherd so that we don’t have any needs, and He even got us back our wealth. Yes wealth! Not a paycheck.

Read that again…

The word victory means from the 1828 Webster’s Dictionary: The advantage or superiority gained over spiritual enemies, over passions and appetites, or over temptations, or in any struggle or competition. Also victory means to conquest. I like that word “conquest”—the act of overcoming opposition.

This is exactly what Jesus decided to do for us. He overcame and because He overcame, we have overcome whatever forces are against us. So, with God on our side and standing by us, how can we lose? Our Father didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our wretched condition and exposing Himself to the worst by sending His own Son, is there anything else He wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us?

And who would dare tangle with God by messing with His chosen ones or pointing an accuser finger at any of them? We are His new creation the chosen ones that Jesus came for and died for. He has been raised to life for us for more than 2000 years! And at this moment He is still sticking up for us through trouble, pain, hard times, hatred, hunger, homelessness, threats, and all the worst of sins ever known to man.

Jesus loved us so much that He came down off of His high throne to get His family back and all that originally belonged to us which included victory. Today embrace the love of Jesus our Master, Friend, Lord, and Savior.
And never again let anything faze you because you have Jesus and His victory.

Decree It: I have Jesus Christ and His victory within me. Therefore I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
