Think New

Christ came with this new agreement so that all who are invited may come and have forever all the wonders God has promised them. For Christ died to rescue them from the penalty of the sins they had committed while still under that old system.

There is freedom under this new agreement that Jesus came to give you and I. We are no longer bound to perform religious rituals for our sins.  Jesus bypassed all those unending trappings once and for all by using his own blood as the price to set us free.

This is why you can choose to think new.

With this new agreement between God and Jesus, you are invited to come and enter into their relationship forever. You can experience a personal relationship every day with Jesus through the Holy Spirit and receive all the promises of God without any dead-end efforts to make yourself respectable and live all out for God starting now. This truly is good news.

How do we begin to think new as followers of Jesus Christ?

Isaiah the prophet of God shares with us how we can begin to think new from his writings in Chapter 55:8-9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

There's our answer! We begin to think new by thinking on God's thoughts and His ways. The more that we practice thinking like God and His ways, we are renewing our natural minds and our responses to be just like Jesus was when He walked the earth.

Decree It: Today I choose to think new in the light of truth. Christ came to set me free forever from my dead-end efforts to make myself respectable. I am now under the new covenant of grace, and I receive all that God has offered me through Jesus.
