The Righteous Thinks Right

We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.

I like the title of this post, "The Righteous Thinks Right" and the scripture reference too. The very moment we placed our faith in Jesus Christ and His finished works we were made right. Our salvation package from God included everything without any harm, side effects, sorrow or trouble.

Since God calls and views us as the righteous, then let us start believing that His word is true and think and act right. I did not write think or act perfectly as Jesus is. So now that you and I have been made righteous by God through the finished works of Jesus, we get to become who we really are every day by first starting with our thoughts. The thoughts that we choose to think about will lead us to life or to our own destruction. We win or lose the battles we face in our minds.

The word of God is powerful! It is one of the tools in our righteous trade that aren’t for marketing or manipulation, but they are for demolishing that entire massively corrupt culture. We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. Our tools are ready at hand for clearing the ground of every obstruction and building lives of obedience into maturity.

Wow, this is good news!

And just think you get to live as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and think just like He does and get the results you desire just like He did. Your thoughts are leading you somewhere, but where will they take you next? You are what you think. What you think about will be what you bring about in your life.

Decree It: I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and I win by fighting the good fight of faith. I am what I think. I keep my thoughts on whatever is right or deserves praise: things that are true, honorable, fair, pure, acceptable, or commendable.
