Jesus is Moved with Compassion

When the Lord saw her, He felt [great] compassion for her, and said to her, “Do not weep.

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.  I am sure glad that He watches over us wherever we are. He knows and understands like no one else what you may be facing. Jesus is now seated next to the right hand of God ministering in His position as High Priest.

Imagine now, if you will, Jesus looking down from heaven upon you and praying His best prayers for you.  And just think of Him whispering to the Holy Spirit to remind you of His will, which is His word concerning your issue and the comfort and peace that it will bring.

Hear Him telling you, "Do not weep."  You may not be weeping audibly where others can hear you, but maybe silently inwardly where the Holy Spirit hears you and desires to help you in your weakness.  You may not know what you ought to pray for either, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for you through wordless groans.

Today, receive the comforting ministry of the Holy Spirit. Jesus left you in good care with the Holy Spirit during your good times and your times of trials and tribulations. He is still moved with compassion for you as He prays for you. Turn to Him and receive His love.

Decree It: Weeping may endure for a night but my joy is here to stay in spite of what I may face. The joy of the Lord is my strength.  I may be full of sorrows or even regrets, but I am not pitiful. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for still being moved with great compassion as you pray for me.
