God wants you to move on ultimately so that you can worship Him unashamedly and without restraints. He knows that when you are overwhelmed, when it's hard to make even a simple decision because of the pressures in your life that inhibits you from being able to worship Him freely.
This is why He told Moses in Exodus 9:1, "Go to Pharaoh and tell him, 'God's Message: Release my people so they can worship me." The very word Exodus means to exit. God wants you released so that you can worship Him.
I pray for you now in this moment that you will see all of Heaven's exit signs and resources flashing when you are pressed in on every side and you deliberately choose to move on in the direction that the Holy Spirit is leading you. God always provides the way of escape. But you don't have to wait to get on the other side, the hallelujah side of your situation to worship.
You can worship God while you are right in the midst of the madness. Worship is powerful especially when you understand that you are not just singing a lil' song. Worship is expressing your love to God. Worship is an act of obedience which is one of the highest demonstrations of your love for God.
We find that John 14:15 clearly states, “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments." So God is basically saying that you can sing all day to Him, but if you aren't following His instructions, you aren't really worshiping Him. I wrote the sentence that you just read because I was also reminded of those words by the Holy Spirit when they were revealed to me some time ago. God wants you free to worship Him by your very lifestyle. He is not surprised that you never thought about it that way.
Today you can recommit in your heart that no matter how ugly or bad your situation looks, you will worship God. In worship you get answers, in worship God shows up on the scene, I pray that you get a grasp of what worship really is.
Present yourself as the living sacrifice that He said you were in Romans 12:1-2 and be free to worship the most High God. Because of the finished work of Christ Jesus you are free. And folks who are free engage in worship.
Decree It: Jesus Himself has carried away all my burdens over 2000 years ago. And by entering and resting into His finished work on the cross, I choose to worship. Jesus made it possible for me to follow His instructions. I will no longer give excuses, instead I’ll offer myself as a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable in the sight of my Lord. Today I will worship!
