Our faith in God is meant to be spent. The only way we will overcome and obtain the abundance of God's blessings is not to listen to the lies and suggestions of the enemy or others who don't know our God, but by continuing to believe in Jesus and His power.
Putting our faith in God as Jesus instructed us to in Mark 11:22 will cause us to have enduring trust in Him and His promises, subdue kingdoms, administer justice, obtain promised blessings, close the mouths of lions, extinguish the power of fire and escape the edge of the sword.
Faith is the currency of the kingdom of God. It is not meant to be saved for a rainy day as we would save monies for emergencies. We spend our faith daily in preparation for emergencies. So when our enemies arise against us in "that day" like a flood, the Holy Spirit will set up a standard against him from the deposits of the Word of God that we have made within our spirits. Jesus Christ Who is the Word of God, He is the standard.
Jesus overcame everything that was set before Him because He placed His faith in God. When He went from one place of prayer to another it was because He believed in God and out of His belief He responded by faith when He demonstrated the works of God.
Take the time to spend your faith by first believing that God not only exists but what He has done for others He will also do for you also because you believe that He will. You can't exercise your measure of faith until you first believe in God or else your spending will be in vain.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Get going today and start spending your faith by reading, listening, declaring and demonstrating the Word of God.
Take note of the order before demonstrating the mighty works of God. Before you can demonstrate the Word of God, it will be necessary that you know what He has said in His Word, listen and decree the Word of God so that your faith will continue to grow in God.
Decree It: I spend my faith now by decreeing and declaring that the Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped. My heart exults, and with my song, I give thanks to Him.
