A Few Things You Can Do

I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.
— Philippians 3:12-14

Read the passage above again. Did you notice the few things that you can do? I did. We can reach out to Christ as He has wondrously reached out to us, keep our eyes on the goal and lastly with the goal in mind, run off and don't turn back.

It's wise to look forward to new beginnings, experiences, and opportunities, not your past. Your past experiences can be used as learning tools that empower you to be a better and stronger person. Remember your past is not your future.

God has given Jesus you and I as His prize. We were His goal. And in turn, we get to make Jesus our prize and goal in every area of our lives. Continue to exalt the Word of God on your journey of faith and never ever look back.

If you find yourself looking back, only do so to remember how good and faithful your God still is. Remember also that you can declare a thing, and you will be established. Keep speaking the Word of God by the revelation that the Holy Spirit shows you.

Decree It: Today I choose to reach out to Christ Jesus, keep my eye on the goal and move on with what the Holy Spirit reveals to me. I am a believer therefore I speak.  I decree and declare that with long life God will satisfy me and show me His great salvation in Jesus' name. Amen.
