Jesus is the Open Door!

Every ten years, the Holy Spirit reveals the heart of God's Kingdom. In 2020 / 5780 on the Jewish calendar, we entered a new decade with many spiritual significances.

Hebraic letters have a numerical value on the gematria. A gematria assigns a numerical value to a name, word, or phrase by reading it as a number or sometimes using an alphanumerical cipher to interpret the values.  

Years 2020 - 2030 / 5780 - 5790 is the decade of the mouth. There is so much power in your mouth that Proverbs 18:21 states, "Your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences."

The seventeenth letter of the Hebrew alphabet is "peh," and its numerical value, or gematria, is 80. On the Jewish lunar calendar, 5780 or 2020 on the Julian solar calendar was heaven's announcement to use your mouth to bring forth God's purposes for your life.

The fourth letter of the Hebrew alphabet is called "Dalet," and its numerical value is the number four. The spiritual significance of the number four represents the words poor in spirit, door, and lift, realizing that you possess nothing without Jesus.

Symbolically, the Dalet also represents your choice to open yourself to the door of your dreams or to remain alienated from God's open door of hope set before you.

It wasn't by chance that the adversary launched his attack nearing the close of 2019. COVID-19 entered the conversation in the U.S. in January 2020 when the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention alerted the nation of the outbreak abroad. By March of 2020, everyone was mandated and marked by the mask. The spiritual significance behind this was that we would remain silent and live a life of despair at the onset of our new decade. The world remained disquieted and threatened by the words of the manipulative media mountain of influence as the death tolls arose, and many fought for their lives. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services declared the COVID-19 public health emergency was officially over as of May 11, 2023.

God always has the last due season Word amid Satan's sadistic attacks. I immediately received a Word from the Lord to declare to the hearers on our morning prayer call from The Message Bible in Galatians 3:13-14, "Christ redeemed us from that self-defeating, cursed life by absorbing it completely into himself. Do you remember the Scripture that says, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"? That is what happened when Jesus was nailed to the Cross: He became a curse and, at the same time, dissolved the curse. And now, because of that, the air is cleared and we can see that Abraham's blessing is present and available for non-Jews, too. We are all able to receive God's life, his Spirit, in and with us by believing - just the way Abraham received it."

Abraham operated by the Blessing of the Lord in Romans 4.  And Believers, too, have been mandated to seek and speak the oracles of God. On the onset of the pandemic, I wasn't waiting until the world declared that it was over! I sought the Lord's response in Job 22:28, “You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light [of God’s favor] will shine upon your ways." God's eyes constantly move throughout the earth in search of someone to partner with Him and decree His Word so that He can reveal Himself.

Lean into this Word for 2024...

Here we are in the fourth year, 2024, of the decade of the mouth, the decade of breakthroughs and recovery! This year is the year of the open door with many opportunities. The year to open your mouth and speak God's Word only by calling those things into existence like God did in the beginning when circumstances contradict His promises.

It's time to come out of bondage and confinement! In Jeremiah 1:9, "The LORD reached out his hand, then he touched my mouth and said, "I am giving you the words to say." You will come out this year on top with the Lord's words that He has given you to say to the mountains that stand in your way. You will get over to the other side with God's Words.

Jesus is the Door! The Door is open to all who are willing to enter through Him as stated in John 10:9, "I am the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved [and will live forever], and will go in and out [freely], and find pasture (spiritual security)."

Jesus is the Door for Your Salvation "Sozo"

When you enter through the Door of God's Word, Jesus, you will experience His rescuing power and protection amid challenging times. You will be kept alive, delivered, healed, made whole, and liberated throughout the new year. God has made a reservation for your preservation through Jesus!

Jesus is the Door for Your Ears to Hear

To experience all that God has for you this year, it's essential to keep listening to Jesus so that faith comes and increases your belief and receivership to execute the promises of God on demand. God has established His desire for you to listen, obey, and yield to His chosen Son, Jesus. When attending to God's Word, carefully consider how you listen. You will be wise and gain more understanding with a teachable heart. Practice listening and following through to complete your cycle of obedience with rewards to follow.

Dear friend, listen well to my words; tune your ears to my voice. Keep my message in plain view at all times. Concentrate! Learn it by heart! Those who discover these words live, really live body and soul, they’re bursting with health.

Jesus is the Door for Your Mouth to Speak

All born believers think, speak, and act immaturely when entering God's kingdom. Holy Spirit is the Teacher, and He's after your spiritual growth to mature you, so you will steward wisely over the possessions He puts in your heart and hands. Learning to speak the language of faith and being skilled in righteousness takes time as you put away childish ways. You can tell a child by their speech, thoughts, and how they reason and respond, especially during times of crisis. Keeping your spirit full of God's Word and Jesus as the Watchman over your lips to keep you from speaking thoughtlessly. Your mouth makes your salvation a reality and will preserve and promote you throughout this year.

Jesus is the Door to Your Identity

Knowing who you are and where you have come from will open doors of opportunities to boldly fulfill your purpose without compromising your beliefs and values to get results. Daily acknowledging every good thing that is yours in Christ strengthens your identification, communication, and participation so that you effectively share every blessing you have in Him to the glory of God.

Jesus is the Door to Your Rest

God has promised rest for all who trust Him. This year, be diligent in entering God's covenant of rest by hearing His voice and not hardening your heart. Fear, doubt, and unbelief are little foxes that steal your belief in God's promises and prevent you from entering His rest.

Whatever you put your hands to this year, work from a rested place with wisdom after seeking and seeing what the Father is doing just like Jesus did. Wisdom will be poured out to unlock mysteries within you. The things that your eyes haven't seen yet, nor ears heard or recognized within your spirit.

So Jesus explained himself at length. “I’m telling you this straight. The Son can’t independently do a thing, only what he sees the Father doing. What the Father does, the Son does. The Father loves the Son and includes him in everything he is doing.

Jesus is the Door from Where the Holy Spirit Pours

Jesus is the Door to Explore 

The secret things belong to the Lord! This is your year to get curious and explore all you've inherited in Christ as a royal citizen. The mysteries of God belongs to kings, lords, and the gods in the earth.

Jesus is the Door to Your Dreams

This year, I believe that you will awaken with a dream like Jacob saying, "Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was unaware of it." You will dream like Joseph with interpretations and strategies to fulfill them. This year will be a year to dream again as God restores your good fortunes. You will sing as you experience the goodness of God. You may have experienced a heavy heart, but you will come home laughing with armloads of blessings this year.

Genesis 28:10-22

10-12 Jacob left Beersheba and went to Haran. He came to a certain place and camped for the night since the sun had set. He took one of the stones there, set it under his head and lay down to sleep. The name of the town had been Luz until then.  20-22 Jacob vowed a vow: “If God stands by me and protects me on this journey on which I’m setting out, keeps me in food and clothing, and brings me back in one piece to my father’s house, this God will be my God. This stone that I have set up as a memorial pillar will mark this as a place where God lives. And everything you give me, I’ll return a tenth to you.”

Psalm 126:1-6

Jesus is the Door to Your Restoration

God is faithful to restore and replace the lost years as He gathers you to Himself.  You will never be put to shame again.  2024 is your year of restoration and celebration.

2024, The Year of the Open Door and Opportunities. As you enter through Jesus, the Door, you will be like a tree planted by the rivers of living waters. God will fill your spirit with His Spirit, and you will decree a thing out of your belly and be established.

Just speak the Word only! And you will be healed, delivered, set free, and experience breakthroughs that only God's Word can provide.

No one needs to permit you to speak. God has authorized you to speak His Word only. What God reveals to you in the dark, speak in the daylight.

What I say to you in the dark (privately), tell in the light (publicly); and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim from the housetops [to many people].

2024, the Holy Spirit will be demonstrating miracles outside of the four walls of the church building. The building will be the place for training to reign as royalty. The marketplace will be a place to execute your faith by practicing and demonstrating the Word of God. This year, you will become skilled in righteousness and use your words to meet the needs of others.

This year you will have what you say by calling things that be not as though they were. You will arise this year and consider not the wind or the cloud, no longer stagger at the promises of God through unbelief, and give glory to God by faith like the father of faith, Abraham. This year, you will look away from all that distracts at the joy that has been set before you like Jesus.

Looking away from all that will distract us and focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, regarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work].

This is your year to trust the LORD and find new strength. Your year to be strong like eagles soaring upward on wings; you will walk and run without getting tired (Isaiah 40:31). This is your year of  more! More of God's grace, more favorable outcomes, more peace, more joy and laughter, more dreams, and more prosperity. The more you see and say, the more you will more have what you say and experience miracles, signs, and wonders on demand as the Holy Spirit dominates your vocal cords in the decade of the peh. "mouth."

Let's agree and decree on the onset of our new year, "I declare that this is my year of the open door with many opportunities that I will take by faith. I will partner with God and decree a thing by calling things that be not as though they are, and God will do His part to establish His Words that I release from my mouth. I am expecting great things this year by the demonstrations of my faith. Jesus is the Door of my salvation, hearing and speaking. He's the Door to my identity, my royalty and rest. He is the Door of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. With Christ, I can explore and dream again as God restores my good fortunes. My God has given me a great expectant end. This is my year to soar and experience more.  I believe I now receive all that God has in store for my 2024.”
